These alignment modifications require skills that are not normally available in the field.
Achieving a more substantial speed reduction ratio requires a smaller sun gear diameter (or an exceedingly large ring gear). This smaller sun gear is usually integral with its shaft, which should be smaller aswell, thereby reducing its strength and its own torque or load capability.
